I worked with Bruce to put something on tape for foreign producers. Bruce was lovely to work with. Because he is an actor and a really good one, the process was much easier. His setup is homey yet professional, and delivery is very fast. I would definitely call on him again!" (Note: Lorraine booked the gig!)

I was introduced to Bruce Nozick at the beginning of Covid by our mutual friend Spencer Garrett. Self-taping became the norm overnight and I had no idea what I was going to do for my auditions going forward. Spencer said that Bruce was by the far the best audition coach with the most comfortable self-taping studio he had ever worked in – and he could have not been more right. In addition, Bruce is a terrific actor and person and this just shines through his work. Bruce takes his time, he’s patient, and he guides you to where the scene needs to go and gets you there. It helps that he’s wonderful to read with, as we aren’t always so lucky to have someone working the camera who has chops. And the results speak for themselves – I just returned from filming multiple episodes of a TV series in NY that I booked from a tape with Bruce. Can’t recommend him more highly.

Without a doubt Bruce Nozick is the finest self-taping audition coach in Los Angeles. I have worked with and known Bruce for the better part of ten years. He's head and shoulders above the rest. Try him - you will be a better actor for it."
Tim Phillips - Acting Coach and Audition Guru
Unlike most people, I really enjoyed auditioning in person. I loved working with the casting director or director to figure out how to make the scene the best it could be. I do not, however, enjoy auditioning on tape. At least, I didn’t - until I worked with Bruce. Bruce is a consummate professional. After working as an actor for years, he lends his insights and wisdom to the process making your audition the best it can be. He also makes it fun and never overcomplicates things as so many people like to do. Bruce has the ability to fortify an actor’s natural instincts and tweak them only when something is needed. If you are having a tough time with a scene, he helps you to reframe it, allowing you to approach it with a fresh perspective which is exciting for an actor. I can’t say enough good things about him and I would be lying if I didn’t tell you that I now look forward to taping the damned things because of Bruce.

Casting actors off a taped audition can be tricky, unless that actor's been coached by Bruce Nozick. A brilliant actor himself, Bruce knows exactly how to digest character and interpret written scenes to give the writer, director and producer exactly the performance we're looking for (and sometimes even better). Book a session with Bruce and you're halfway to booking the job."
Scott Williams - Executive Producer of "NCIS"
Bruce Nozick is a dream. Once I experienced the joy of collaborating with him on my self-tapes, and the ease it afforded me to get to do the kind of work I could be proud of, I never looked back! Bruce makes it all a walk in the park, and a beautiful creative experience. He is a prince. And the results show up in the success of the auditions as well-- not only am I getting jobs, and getting close to jobs, but the amount of people getting to see work that really speaks for me has grown exponentially.

I have known Bruce for many years and I can tell you that in addition to being a fantastic actor, he's also a wonderful, insightful human being. As a casting person who has directed thousands of actors myself, I can tell you that Bruce knows more than a thing or two about what it takes to craft a solid audition. I can't recommend him highly enough!"

For years I’ve had trouble with auditioning. I took more than one class to work on it, and still experienced huge anxiety. I was so happy to find Bruce virtual auditioning during Covid! Not only is his westside studio and set up in the room perfect, I love reading with him as he’s a really good actor as well as coach. I have less and less anxiety, and I feel freer in my work. My auditions have really improved! The feedback I now get is night and day better. I recently used Bruce just to coach me for a really important call back/test situation, even though it was a live zoom audition and I didn’t need him to record and send it. I needed HIM, his direction and support. I couldn’t recommend him more enthusiastically. What a great guy!

Many actors love self-taping. They say it provides an opportunity to work and rework scenes until they are "where they want them to be" to submit. I am NOT that actor. I like being in the room with a director or casting director to get feedback and adjustments. Once I started working with Bruce Nozick, I learned to LOVE self-taping. Bruce is an actor and a great coach/director. He has insight and intuition. He is a marvel. Work with him whenever you can. The industry has changed. Self-taping is one of the standards of how things are cast today. It gives us the chance to audition for work all over the country. And working with Bruce will give you your best shot."
